With over 20 years experience, Philip Solano, owner/operator of Vantage Upholstery is dedicated to providing quality automotive interior restorations and convertible top installations. Initially working on furniture, auto and marine interiors and tops, Phil has always been committed to quality. Before he opened Vantage Upholstery he was co-owner and a head upholsterer of a highly reputable auto interior shop, specializing in high end marques such as Bugatti, Ferrari, Aston-Martin, Rolls Royce, and other European exotics. It was here were he honed his skills as a master craftsman and learned the techniques of leather work used in the high end automotive industry. Creating many award winning interiors on some of the finest cars, Phil has now taken his skill to Vantage Upholstery were he oversees every aspect of an automotive interior restoration.
We can perform complete or partial interior restorations specializing in leatherwork.
We use only the best materials including Connolly leather, Wilton wool carpets, and English wool broadcloth among others.
We have the proper leather machinery essential to achieve the utmost level of detail, and desired finished product, including special sewing machines, a Fortuna leather splitter and a Randall Skiving machine.
